Clean Water, Healthy City
A spread I designed for the Philly Biodiversity Zine by Skype a Scientist!
More about the project: There are a lot of problems in the world right now, and it can be overwhelming to know what to do to make the world better.
That's why we designed the Philly biodiversity zine! Each spread covers a different area of action, like water management, native plants, and climate change. Each page comes with action items on how Philly residents can support our wildlife.
This zine is pay what you wish. The more support we get for this project, the more we are able to print and distribute in Philadelphia!
This zine is a collaboration between 6 Philly artists, including Nafeeza Hassan, El Toro, Jean Wei, Kait Waldman, Sarah Beahm, and Sarah McAnulty!

Common Fish of the Schuylkill River
A didactic poster displaying the common fish of Philadelphia's Schuylkill River.
Dragon and Pheonix
The dragon and the phoenix represent eternal love, prosperity, and happiness. Traditionally emblems of the Chinese emperor and empress, they gay now. Dedicated to my amazing partner.
Invasive Bugs of Pennsylvania
When Spring approaches in Pennsylvania, keep an eye out for these invasive insects! This didactic poster can inform folks about the appearance of certain bugs to be wary of that can cause harm to the native flora and fauna population.
Are You Okay?
Are You Okay is a two-color photo lithography print (image illustrated digitally). The fish in the foreground is inspired by a collective of experiences from my loved ones; they feel like they’re sinking while being asked if they need assistance by a system that simultaneously seeks to trick and harm them.
Burn the Match
This piece uses Gestalt Principles to illustrate the harm that hunting, trapping, and habitat destruction do to dwindling tiger populations to the point of near extinction.
Trophy Wife
A perfect wife, picked and packaged just for you.
LION
“LION” is a personal piece about a past relationship that permanently altered me. I continually struggle coming to terms with the past and how it affects me now; this work is my first big step to strengthening my grip in regard to what I went through.“LION” is a personal piece about a past relationship that permanently altered me. “I almost fucking died. You’re the fucking reason I can’t drive without imagining someone crashing into me and finishing the night that you started. You’re the fucking reason I can’t stop catching glances of you in other men who look vaguely like you even though I’m 93 miles away. You’re the fucking reason my stomach knots whenever a man gives me a high five. You ruined high fives for me you fucking douchebaguette.”“LION” is a personal piece about a past relationship that permanently altered me.
